Hotlink Protection

<p>Hotlink protection prevents other websites from directly linking to files on your website. Other sites will still be able to link to any file type that you don't specify (i.e., HTML files). An example of hotlinking would be using an <img> tag to display an image from your site somewhere else on the Web. The data that is stored within a cache might be values that have been computed earlier or duplicates of original values that are stored elsewhere.
